How do you go about the idea of paying for every email that you are sending? For me this rumor is pretty awful. It’s sick and foolish.

Early this morning, I happened to read a blog entitled Plan to charge for email won't solve the problem. The entry talks about the possibility of AOL and Yahoo to start charging senders for every email they are sending. The reason behind this is to limit spamming. However, is it really a remedy?

I agree with the writer who said that spam will not reduce. What will be reduced is the amount of spam blocking that the senders are experiencing. The only viable way to reduce spamming is to receive mails only from paying senders. And who the hell will block all the unpaid emails? Basically, no sane person will.

E-commerce web site services for sure will be greatly affected by this probable change. This can also be one of the disgusting drawbacks that AOL and Yahoo will be giving.

An entry entitled AJAX...62% Good? hit me today. It is an entry about introducing Ajax as the new ‘big thing right now’. Does that mean Flash is already a history when it comes to might? Or perhaps the latter has still its crowning glory and what is coming out now is only a misnomer, no less.

Part of the entry states:

“At the time, FLASH (or at least 90% of the implementations I saw) did not make sense to me. I advertised myself as someone who made “subtle use of Flash”. To me that meant "practical" use of Flash.

AJAX is the big thing right now. AJAX is pretty cool. I really like that the BIG THING with AJAX is NOT the wow factor, it’s the improved usability - at least that’s the big thing in my books. That said, there will be lots of sites that get caught up in the WOW and lose sight of the usability.

We use AJAX on 2ndSite now and we will use it more. Our use is so “subtle” you may not even realize we use it. We use it to enhance performance (page loading).

Flash is 99% bad is a concept I heard about Friday. It stands for 99% bad implementations. I’m curious to see how people use AJAX and what the implementations turn out to be. There are a lot of browser compatibility issues with AJAX. The “Back” functionality is problematic.

I’m a glass is half full kind of guy. What do you think? Ajax is 62% good? I guess we’ll have to wait and see…”

Picture perfect image is pretty hard to achieve. It takes great passion and diligence on the part of the photographer as well as the one editing it.

I have come across a blog entry entitled “Morning-After Empties”. It said, “It’s pathetic, and criminal, how some New Year’s Eve revelers think a lake is one big trash bin. I saw several empty beer bottles floating all over the lake when I took my morning stroll in the park. These two were somehow blown together by the wind”.

Different styles. Different idiosyncrasies. Artists are like that. Weird. Absurd. Out-of-this world! I’m glad there are lots of artist in this twisted world or else nobody would care to understand.

As I was poring over the latest website design in the designers who blog, I noticed this eccentricity and style of various artists. It feels good to see the soaring potentials of web development.

There was one entry there which is entitled Sparth Construct. The man behind it was Nicolas Bouvier. The rest of his works are found in sparth.com. This talented artist has already contributed several games since 1997. His works have gone a long way already. They have been used in the covers of French and English authors.
